Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

Last Updated: 08-02-2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by SunShine Auto Detailing. By booking a service, the client (you) agrees to these Terms.

1. General

These Terms apply to all detailing services we provide.

By scheduling an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

2. Pricing & Payment

Variable Pricing: Prices listed on our website or promotional materials are "starting at" prices. Final pricing may vary depending on vehicle size, condition, and requested services.

Deposits: A non-refundable 20% deposit is required for all online self-scheduled bookings, or any appointment booked more than 7 days in advance. This deposit is fully deducted from your final service total. Deposits are not required for over-the-phone bookings scheduled within a 7-day window.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of services. Online deposits must be paid via debit or credit card at the time of booking. For the remaining final balance, we accept cash, Zelle, debit cards, credit cards, and in-person checks.

3. Scheduling & Cancellations (Prior to 24 Hours):

Cancellations: If you cancel your appointment completely, any 20% deposit previously paid is strictly forfeited.

Rescheduling: If you need to change your appointment date or time, your 20% deposit will carry over to secure your new date. It is not forfeited for a standard reschedule.

No-Shows (Day-of Ghosting): Failing to show up, failing to provide access to the vehicle at the scheduled time, or failing to communicate on the day of service is considered a No-Show.

No-Show Fee: All No-Shows are subject to a 30% No-Show Fee, calculated from the base service price (excluding fees that add up to your total amount). If a deposit was previously paid, it will be forfeited in addition to the 30% fee.

Provider Discretion: Sunshine Auto Detailing reserves the absolute, exclusive right to enforce, reduce, or waive cancellation and no-show fees on a case-by-case basis depending on communication and circumstances.

4. Liability

We take the utmost care when servicing your vehicle. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or wear to the vehicle’s interior, exterior, paint, upholstery, or mechanical components.

Certain risks are inherent in auto detailing, such as:

Pre-existing paint damage, scratches, or clear coat failure becoming more visible after cleaning or polishing.

Upholstery tears, worn fabrics, or weakened seams worsening during deep cleaning.

Electrical or mechanical issues unrelated to detailing that may occur during or after service.

Personal belongings should be removed prior to your appointment. We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items left inside the vehicle.

While we use industry-standard tools and chemicals, we are not liable for adverse reactions (such as fading, discoloration, or spotting) caused by pre-existing conditions, aftermarket parts, or prior repairs.

In the unlikely event that damage is proven to have been directly caused by our negligence, we will take responsibility for repair or replacement of the affected part(s).

5. Service Limitations

Some stains, odors, scratches, or imperfections may not be fully removable. We will always do our best and set realistic expectations.

Extreme conditions (excessive dirt, pet hair, mold, or biohazards) may incur additional charges.

Services may be rescheduled in the event of unsafe working conditions, such as extreme weather.

6. Maintenance Plans

We offer maintenance plans for recurring detailing services (e.g., monthly or quarterly visits).

Maintenance plans require a minimum commitment of 12 months if paid upfront for the entire year.

If you cancel a maintenance plan before the agreed term, any unused prepaid services are non-refundable.

Missed or rescheduled appointments under a plan must follow the same 24-hour cancellation policy outlined in Section 3.

Pricing for maintenance plans is subject to change with at least 30 days’ written notice to you.

7. Extensive Work Time Policy

For detailing services that extend beyond 4 hours, a 1-hour lunch break will be provided for the detailers.

For paint correction services requiring more than a full day’s work, service will conclude at sunset and resume the following day at 8:00 AM until the job is complete.

This policy ensures our team can maintain the highest level of quality and attention to detail while also staying safe and well-rested during extended services.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update or revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, policies, or applicable laws.

Any updates will be published on our official website, and the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page will be changed accordingly.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms before booking a service. By continuing to book or receive services after updates are posted, you agree to the revised Terms.

If a change significantly impacts an upcoming appointment you’ve already booked (such as cancellation policies or fees), we will notify you directly using the contact information you provided at booking.
